About The Event

At this young age children are still egocentric and our program is right in line with their development. Instead of working on higher-level skills requiring complex decision-making such as knowing when to dribble and when and whom to pass to, our program meets our players right where they’re at. Per the Belgium blueprint “The point is, before we start developing in the kids the notion of football as a passing game, we must focus on the development of skills that suit where they are mentally and cognitively, like keeping the ball, running with the ball and scoring.”

The Grassroots program includes a training day and a game day. At training, we focus on technical development with fun, challenging drills. Every training session is designed to give each child a lot of time on the ball to work toward mastering the ball and developing a natural feel for it.

On game day, the children play without interference from coaches or parents. It’s like the old days when kids just went outside, played against each other and had pure fun. The games will be 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3, mimicking the backyard games of our youth.

The focus:

Ball mastery

Correct technique

Love for the game

We guarantee your child will walk away a better player!
